Hopess acquires a lot of medication from its residents that are not needed. These are obtained due to medication changes, medications expiring, or residents leaving medications behind that are no longer needed. Because of this, we found ourselves destroying a lot of medication, and thus, this created a lot of medication waste. Hopess has therefore partnered with Sirum where we ship back unused medication and they recycle this medication and in turn, give it to those in need. We are proud to be a part of Sirum.
